Hey there, fellow cat lovers in Dubai! We know how much you adore your furry friends. They bring so much joy, purrs, and playful pounces into our lives. But if you’re renting your home here in the UAE, you might have a little worry in the back of your mind: “How can I give my cat the freedom they deserve without upsetting my landlord or losing my security deposit?”
It’s a common story, isn’t it? Many landlords in Dubai are super careful about their properties, and sometimes, even a tiny scratch can lead to big deductions from your deposit when you move out. And when it comes to something like a cat flap, which usually means cutting a hole in a door or glass, it can feel like a huge headache.
That’s where Lion Aluminium and Glass in Dubai comes in! We’re not just any glass company; we’re here to make life easier for you and your beloved cat, without causing any drama with your landlord. You can also learn more about our service in the cat flap in glass sliding door

The Smart Way to Get a Cat Flap (No Damage, We Promise!)
You see, most cat flaps need a hole cut into your door or window. If you have a fancy double-glazed glass door (that’s two panes of glass with air in between for insulation), you absolutely cannot cut a hole in it once it’s made. Trying to do so would break it! And drilling into aluminium frames can leave permanent marks.
But don’t you worry! We have a super clever trick that keeps everyone happy. Instead of cutting your existing glass or drilling into your door, we do something much smarter:
- We gently take out your original glass panel. Don’t worry, we’re super careful, and we keep it safe for you.
- Then, we make a brand-new glass panel, exactly like your old one, but with a special difference! While this new glass is being made in the factory, we cut a perfect hole for your cat flap right into it. It’s like magic!
- We then install this new glass panel, with your cat flap already fitted, into your door. It looks fantastic, and your cat gets their very own special entrance.

Moving Out? No Problem!
When it’s time for you to move to a new home, it’s super easy. We simply come back, take out the glass with the cat flap, and put your original glass panel back in. It’s as if the cat flap was never there! This means:
- No damage to your landlord’s property.
- No worries about losing your security deposit.
- A happy cat who can come and go as they please!
